American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Neuro Med/Surg unit requiring 2+ years of recent neurosurgery/neuroscience experience.

Work on a 18-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
-
Care for post neurosurgery and neuroscience patient population
-
Patient ratio of 1:6
-
Uses Cerner EMR
-
Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Floating required as needed
-
Active RN license (AL state or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration

Current AHA BLS and AHA NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro/Neurosurgery required

American Red Cross certifications not accepted

Provide direct nursing care to post neurosurgery and neuroscience patients

Navy blue scrubs required

Artificial fingernails not permitted

Must maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
