Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Vadnais Hts, MN. The Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair services within commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical understanding of electrical systems and codes, with the ability to execute service tasks safely and efficiently on a contract basis.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and transformers.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate specific wiring and project needs.
- Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect to circuit breakers, outlets, and other components.
- Interpret and work directly from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used for service calls.
- Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to meet project timelines and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations and service.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety protocols.
- Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and a standard set of electrical hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a service team in a contract capacity.
- Reliable transportation to and from project sites in the Vadnais Hts area.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to job site safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles as required for installation and repair.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to work in various environments, including exposure to heights and loud noises.
- Must be able to see color to accurately discern color-coded wiring.
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
