Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Seasonal Assembly Line Lead to join our 1st shift team in Groveport, OH. In this role, you will oversee a team of 10 or more seasonal employees, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and quality standards are met in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll coordinate daily workflow, provide training and feedback, and support your team in meeting production goals during our busy seasonal period.
Schedule & Pay:
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime: Expected during peak season
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 10+ seasonal employees on the production line
- Coordinate daily workflow and troubleshoot issues to ensure deadlines are met
- Track and review productivity using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or reports
- Conduct start-up meetings to align team on priorities and expectations
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members to improve performance
- Assist in updating training materials and documenting process changes
- Perform manual production tasks as needed during non-peak times
- Foster a respectful and positive team environment through professional communication
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse or production setting
- Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
- Familiarity with WMS; SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Basic math skills and ability to read labels, instructions, and processes
- Comfortable working in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Able to lift 30 lbs. continuously and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb for 8–10 hours per shift
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills
