Duties
- Engage with customers in retail settings to understand their color preferences, renovation goals, and design visions.
- Conduct product demonstrations of paint, lighting, fixtures, and related materials to showcase options effectively.
- Assist clients with layout design, lighting solutions, and color schemes using tools like SketchUp and CAD software to visualize concepts.
- Upsell premium products and services by highlighting features that meet client needs while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients on remodeling projects, offering expert advice on fixture selection, maintenance, and construction details.
- Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, follow-up communication, and ongoing support.
- Manage inventory stocking, POS transactions, cash handling, and maintain organized product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the construction or interior design industry.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of lighting design, interior design principles, remodeling processes, and construction sales.
- Multilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse client needs effectively.
- Demonstrated success in high-end sales environments with a focus on deal closing and upselling techniques.
- Experience working with renovation projects or construction sites adds valuable insight into client needs.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages enhance client engagement capabilities.
