Position Overview
K & T Diagnostic, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Mobile X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team.
Our technologists provide mobile diagnostic imaging services in patients’ homes, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation and convalescent centers, retirement communities, and memory care facilities throughout Western Massachusetts.
Using state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment, PACS, and cloud-based technology, we bring high-quality diagnostic services directly to patients who may be frail, disabled, medically vulnerable, or unable to travel to a traditional imaging facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities throughout the assigned service area
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Position patients safely and appropriately, including patients with limited mobility
- Operate company-provided mobile imaging equipment and vehicle
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission
- Upload and transmit studies securely through PACS and cloud-based systems
- Perform EKGs as needed
- Complete examinations and required documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and the company vehicle in a clean and professional condition
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, facility staff, clients, and coworkers
- Follow all applicable safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
- Provide an impeccable bedside manner and compassionate care during every patient interaction
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active Massachusetts General Radiographer License
- Current ARRT certification
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Strong clinical, technical, and patient-positioning skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete examinations and documentation in a timely manner
- Comfortable driving to multiple patient locations during an assigned shift
- Genuine commitment to providing respectful, high-quality patient care
