Position Summary
Serves as executive leader of the Police Department responsible for law enforcement operations, public safety initiatives, staffing, community policing, and organizational leadership.
Essential Duties
- Direct all police operations and public safety functions.
- Develop strategic priorities and measurable goals.
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, and succession planning.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and incident response.
- Develop community outreach initiatives.
- Administer departmental budget and grants.
- Maintain policy and compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
- Ten years of law enforcement experience.
- Five years of command experience.

- Community policing philosophy.
- Strong ethical leadership.
- Budget and personnel management skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to attend meetings, travel, respond to emergencies, and perform administrative and field duties.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
