ICM Learning Academy is seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Part-Time Kindergarten Teacher to join our elementary school team.
Position Summary:
The Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment while providing high-quality instruction appropriate for kindergarten students. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching young children, organized, dependable, and committed to student growth and success.
Qualifications:
* Current and valid Ohio teaching license/certificate required
* Experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary students preferred
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
* Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school administration
* Patient, caring, professional, and dependable
* Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
* Must be able to work as a part-time teacher during the school week
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging kindergarten lessons aligned with curriculum and Ohio learning standards
* Teach core academic subjects and support students’ social-emotional development
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom
* Assess student progress and maintain appropriate records
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
* Collaborate with school administration and other teachers
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment
Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday–Friday
