Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools with proper manual handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and specialized floor care methods.
- Handle outdoor work responsibilities when required, including patio or garden area tidying.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations in residential or hotel environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation procedures, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work requirements when necessary.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care methods is preferred.
- Previous experience with custodial or janitorial responsibilities is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
