Powder Coating Process: Operate and monitor the powder coating line to ensure the coating process meets specifications, including temperature, time, and coating thickness.

Spray Application: Apply powder coating materials to various substrates using electrostatic guns, ensuring even coverage and consistent application.

Quality Control: Inspect coated parts for defects, ensuring that the finish is uniform, smooth, and free from defects such as runs, sags, or inconsistencies.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the powder coating equipment, including the booth, spray guns, wash tanks, ovens, and conveyors.

Wash System: Maintain proper pH and chemical composition of wash/rinse tanks.

Environmental and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and environmental regulations. Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of powder coating materials, including pigments, chemicals, and other consumables.

Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including batch numbers, production time, and any issues encountered during the coating process.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in powder coating, spray painting, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills:

Knowledge of powder coating materials, processes, and equipment.

Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect and maintain quality standards.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with coating systems.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in an environment with exposure to heat, dust, and noise.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or training in industrial painting or related fields is a plus.
