Mack Daddy Lawn & Pest is looking for an experienced Lawn & Pest Technician to help grow and lead our service operation in Norman, OK. We are looking for someone who truly knows lawn care applications and is confident working independently while also collaborating closely with the owner.
You’ll be responsible for servicing residential properties with fertilization, weed control, and pest control treatments while also playing a key role in upsells and new customer growth. If you’re great with clients, take pride in your work, and want to make serious money, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and stock your service vehicle daily with fertilizers and pest control products
- Run a solo route servicing residential lawns and properties
- Apply fertilizers, weed control, and pest treatments accurately and safely
- Identify lawn issues, weeds, and diseases and recommend solutions
- Communicate confidently with homeowners about their lawn and pest needs
- Generate upsells and new sales from existing clients and surrounding homes
- Work closely with the owner to improve service quality, routes, and growth
- Represent the Mack Daddy brand with professionalism, humor, and confidence
Requirements
- Strong, proven experience in lawn care applications (REQUIRED)
- Comfortable identifying weeds, turf issues, and treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills — must enjoy talking with clients
- Comfortable with upselling and light door-to-door introductions
- High level of self-management and reliability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug test
- No felonies or DUI
- Shows up every day and takes ownership of their work
Licenses and certifications are a BIG plus
Pay & Commission Opportunities
- $17–$25/hour base pay depending on experience
- Commission on upsells and new sales
- Opportunity to earn $25–$300+ per day in additional commissions

Schedule
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour shifts (seasonal workload dependent)
Experience
- Lawn care / fertilization: 2+ years preferred
