This role will require a strong understanding of firearms, ammunition, and strict adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing firearms and handling. You will ensure that every transaction is conducted safely, legally, and ethically while helping the customer make informed decisions.
What You’ll Do
As a Firearms Specialist, you will:
- Assist customers in choosing firearms & ammunition.
- Conduct background checks for all firearms purchases.
- Be able to explain product features, differences, and safe usage.
- Provide honest recommendations while promoting responsible ownership.
- Stock, organize, and merchandise firearms.
- Assist during ATF inspections or internal compliance checks.
- Ability to correctly monitor inventory levels and maintain records & documentation.
