Qualifications:
Must have a valid STNA in the State of Ohio
CPR & FA preferred
Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience preferred
Job Duties:
- Creates and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, encouragement, calmness throughout the facility and displays a positive attitude.
- Performs basic personal care skills and basic nursing skills including: taking and recording vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, bathing, mouth care, grooming, dressing, care of hearing aids, teeth, toileting, assisting with eating and drinking, skin care, turning, positioning, body mechanics, assist in ambulation, Bed making and cleanliness of resident rooms.
- Maintains good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to assure services and activities are properly maintained to meet the needs of the members.
- Identifies and attends to member needs promptly, protect members’ belongings, and addresses members with respect and dignity at all times.
- Proper use of gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
- Works with Hospice team to allow members to age in place comfortably.
