Established in 1985, Innovative Closet Designs is a local luxury closet company seeking full-time, long-term Custom Closet Installers to support our Lead Carpenters. We design and install high-end custom laminate closet systems for both homeowners and premier builders throughout New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Carpenter with installation of custom laminate closets and storage systems
- Read and follow provided plans to assemble and install components accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Provide a professional, in-home customer experience
- Safely operate company vehicles to and from job sites
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Some experience in carpentry or cabinetry
- Basic measuring skills and comfort using common hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn installation techniques and follow direction
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Professional appearance and respectful communication with homeowners
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs throughout the day
- Able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and drive company vehicles
- Able to read plans clearly, take accurate measurements, and check that work is done right

Pay: $1,045.00 - $1,140.00 per week
