Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flair
- Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
- Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining presentation standards for retail or catering purposes
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support overall kitchen operations
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of food handling and kitchen practices
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that excite our guests
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining menu items, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
- Proficiency in cake decorating, food presentation, and packaging techniques
- Solid background in food production, preparation, and baking within a professional kitchen or food industry setting
- Excellent knife skills, baking expertise, and knowledge of culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
