Poultney High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Long-Term Substitute Physical Education & Health Teacher for the remainder of the 20252026 school year. The anticipated start date is March 30, 2026. This position serves both middle and high school students and plays an important role in promoting fitness, wellness, and healthy decision-making across our 712 community.Preferred Qualifications: Vermont teaching license in Physical Education and/or HealthExperience working with adolescents in educational or athletic settingsStrong communication, classroom management, and organizational skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students and colleaguesCommitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school climatePoultney High School is a supportive, close-knit learning community that values engagement, wellness, and student growth.
