Responsibilities
- Provide attentive pet care, including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining cleanliness of animal spaces
- Handle dogs and other animals with patience and confidence, utilizing proper restraint techniques when necessary
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and healthy
- Maintain detailed records of animal care routines, behaviors, and health status for accurate communication with team members and pet ownersRequirements
- Prior experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, pet grooming salons, or pet sitting services is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dog animal handling skills to ensure safe interactions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when transporting or caring for animals of various sizes
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays as needed to accommodate pet care schedules
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
