OSPM (AV) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, financial performance, and successful completion of assigned projects. This role ensures all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with NCS quality standards and customer expectations.
The Project Manager collaborates closely with Operations, Human Resources, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to drive operational efficiency, workforce development, and overall project success while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, communication, and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all phases of project planning, execution, scheduling, and project closeout activities

Manage project budgets, labor allocations, materials, permitting, forecasting, and profitability

Conduct project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and completion/debrief meetings

Review project estimates, scope of work, contracts, and customer requirements

Maintain project schedules, reporting, and workflow coordination to ensure timely completion

Manage change orders, project documentation, and closeout packages

Ensure customer approvals and final sign-offs are completed in a timely manner

Perform site visits, inspections, walkthroughs, and quality assurance reviews

Supervise field personnel and support employee development, coaching, and performance management

Review and approve employee timesheets and expense reports

Coordinate workforce training and technical skills development initiatives

Partner with Human Resources on hiring, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and policy implementation

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsive service

Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations

Represent NCS professionally with customers, vendors, and employees at all times

Maintain current industry certifications, training, and technical knowledge

Travel to customer sites and project locations as required
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience required

10+ years of telecommunications, structured cabling, construction, or related industry experience preferred

PMP certification preferred

Industry certifications and technical training are a plus

Valid driver’s license required

Ability and willingness to travel as needed
