We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The PT will be responsible for evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing advanced therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. This role also involves supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We are seeking a Physical Therapist who is skilled in conducting remote evaluations. The ideal candidate will be able to assess patients' conditions effectively through virtual platforms, ensuring high-quality care and personalized treatment plans. Experience with telehealth technology and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluation:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical abilities, limitations, and therapy needs.
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical goals.
Advanced Patient Care:
Perform hands-on therapy and implement advanced rehabilitative interventions.
Utilize evidence-based techniques to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise and mentor PTAs, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and safety protocols.
Provide guidance to the rehabilitation team and participate in interdisciplinary case discussions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress.
10-20 Hours Per Week.
Work Days - Monday-Sunday
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
Completion of clinical internships and supervised hands-on training in multiple settings, including acute care, outpatient, and rehabilitation.
Current CPR/AED certification; advanced certifications (ACLS, specialty certifications) are encouraged.
Work Experience:
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTs is required for licensure.
Prior experience in a clinical setting through internships or residencies is essential.
Specialized experience in a particular therapy area (orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, etc.) is preferred for advanced roles.
Leadership or supervisory experience is valuable for positions that oversee PTAs and other support staff.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
