Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to transport orders efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies.
- Follow designated routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing guest questions or concerns with enthusiasm.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and ensure all deliveries are properly documented.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform safe lifting practices to prevent accidents or damage during loading/unloading processes.
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and material handling tasks.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or van/delivery vehicle operation preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable; familiarity with route driving and heavy lifting is a plus.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and use mobile devices for navigation and communication.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, manual handling, and weight handling in the workplace.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures related to commercial truck driving or courier services.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
