Precision International is seeking an organized, dependable Inventory & Purchasing Lead to manage the day-to-day purchasing and inventory functions within our manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for ensuring materials are available to support production while maintaining accurate inventory records and appropriate stocking levels.
Hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Review inventory levels and production needs to determine purchasing requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders and communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery.
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on late or back ordered materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records in the company ERP system.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess, and slow-moving inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate and participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Work closely with Production to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Coordinate with Accounting to resolve purchasing, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain positive vendor relationships and obtain competitive pricing when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material availability, and purchasing processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with vendors and employees across multiple departments.
- Experience with ERP/inventory systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant training preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
