Retail Sales Associate – Lake Jocassee
We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to fill the role of Retail Sales Associate at our 18+ acre facility here at beautiful Lake Jocassee. National Geographic ranked Lake Jocassee and the surrounding Jocassee Gorges as one of the top places in the world! It is truly a one-of-a-kind place!
Our unique retail store is an outfitter (fishing, marine and camping supplies) and general store (hats, t-shirts, souvenirs, candy, wine, beer and snacks). We have the largest boat rental fleet in this area and sales/reservations are managed through the retail store, so this individual will be heavily involved in that segment of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the outdoors/lakes and creating great experiences for families! Our business has been here since 1979 and we've been very fortunate to experience several years of growth. Exceptional customer interaction/service skills are a must. An entrepreneurial nature is preferred.
Prior outfitter/marina experience would be helpful, but certainly not required. Boat trailering and handling experience is also not required. We have a separate outside operations team that manages the boats, facilities and service shop.
We are looking for someone that wants to be part of a small, close and efficient team and growing business. We are very busy during our peak season, and availability on weekends and Summer holidays is a must.
