Performs all aspects of cardiac sonography which includes transthoracic two dimensional, m-mode and doppler procedures; transesophageal; pharmacologic/non-pharmacologic stress echocardiograms; and imaging procedures.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
- Completion of an approved AMA or credentialed program in cardiovascular technology
- Current certification or eligibility for certification required with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Current ‘active’ status required for CME compliance by certification program.
