Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-
Lead and manage multiple groups of 2-4 crew members and mentor and train junior team members

Clear understanding of operating the Horizontal Drill (Vermeer) and Excavation equipment

Follow proper safety procedures when operating equipment and working in the ROW
-
Pickup/Deliver supplies, tools, equipment, etc., via company vehicle (towing trailer if applicable)

Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment

Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/pictures/reports as determined by supervisor and/or other management personnel

Develops and maintains a positive company image, both internally with fellow employees and with customers

DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work performed at significant heights, requiring ability and comfort with climbing towers, lifting heavy equipment, and working in elevated positions using climbing gear and safety equipment.
- This position operates at professional construction sites, requiring the ability to communicate verbally with others on site, in person and over the telephone, ability to read printed materials, signs and directions, stamina to maintain attention despite interruptions, ability to lift, climb with, push, pull, carry, handle or feel objects, supplies, tools, machinery and/or controls weighing up to 50 pounds and reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, ladders and/or towers; balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift overhead, traverse around sites, in the air, or otherwise position one's self around the required work and safety requirements to navigating and perform activities on various construction sites in a safe manner.

Will be required to work on project sites and operate vehicles, trailers, machinery, equipment, and other tools within local, state, and federal safety guidelines.

This position operates in a professional field environment. The position requires working outside, frequently for extended periods of time in all weather, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, wind and rain.
- While working, the employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.
EXPECTED POSITION HOURS
- This is a full-time position. Overtime may be required as job duties demand, and with prior approval.

Must be able to work weekends, overnight, out of the market or away from home and willingness to travel overnight as work demands.
Qualifications:
-
Experience with Vermeer Drills and Hydro Vacs
-
Travel Requirements: Must be available to travel up to 100% for weeks at a time if required
-
Flexible to work shift work to include maintenance window and weekends if needed
-
Must be able to become DOT certified if designated as an eligible driver for the Company
-
Must be able to accurately track crew member hours on a daily/weekly basis and submit time for management approval in a timely manner
-
3+ years of experience with wireless telecommunication site construction
-
OSHA Safety standards certification is preferred (will provide training)
Certifications, Licenses, and other Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years old.
-
Valid Commercial Drivers License REQUIRED with a clean driving record or minimal points as acceptable by Company's insurance.

Successful completion and clearance of a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00
