Courtyard Plaza Assisted Living Facility is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and attentive CNA or HHA to join our caregiving team. This position involves providing daily care and assistance to residents in a respectful, safe, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living
- Assist with transfers, mobility, and walking as needed
- Perform regular resident checks and respond promptly to resident needs
- Observe residents and report any changes in condition or behavior
- Assist with meal service, resident activities, and maintaining clean resident areas
- Accurately complete required documentation
- Follow infection-control, resident-rights, safety, and facility policies
- Treat every resident with patience, dignity, and respect
- Work cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, residents, and families
Qualifications:
- Current Florida CNA license or recognized HHA certificate
- Caregiving experience preferred; assisted living experience is a plus
- Level 2 background screening
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Able to assist residents safely with mobility and personal care
- Patient, responsible, professional, and comfortable working with older adults
- Must be able to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
- English required; bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a plus
Schedule:
- Full-time/Part-time/Per diem
- Must be available to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
