Overview
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individual to help maintain several residential rental properties, our personal home, and our family ranch. This is a hands-on position with a wide variety of projects, so no two days are the same.
If you're someone who enjoys fixing things, working outdoors, takes pride in your work, and doesn't need constant supervision, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- General handyman repairs and maintenance
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (non-licensed tasks)
- Interior and exterior painting
- Drywall repairs and touch-ups
- Landscaping, mowing, weed control, irrigation repairs, and seasonal cleanup
- Fence repairs and property maintenance
- Trash and debris removal
- Pressure washing
- Minor carpentry projects
- Preparing rental homes between tenants
- Coordinating and identifying repairs before they become larger issues
- Assisting with maintenance around our family ranch as needed
- Running occasional errands related to property management
Qualifications
- Previous handyman, maintenance, landscaping, construction, or ranch experience preferred
- Comfortable operating common power tools and landscaping equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable with excellent communication skills
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule
- Full-time for the right candidate
- Flexible schedule with occasional emergency maintenance needs
