We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new pizza offerings.
- Handle food ingredients with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality pizza options for various occasions.
Experience
- Previous experience as a pizza maker or cook in a fine dining or fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
- Experience with menu planning and culinary techniques related to pizza preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with dietary department operations or catering services is beneficial but not required.
