Primary Responsibilities:
Maintaining the Recreation / Activities Department & Calendar
Supervision of staff
Develop exciting programs
Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to deliver a purposeful daily schedule
Requirements:
Experience planning activities for seniors in assisted living or similar settings
Proven success leading a recreation/life enrichment team
Proven experience in managing a recreation team
Great communication skills interacting with residents and families.
Working Conditions:
Active role—on your feet frequently; occasional lifting/moving
Occasional outdoor activities and community outings
Fast-paced environment at times; remain calm and solution-focused
