Senior Patient Care Coordinator | $22–26/hour | Full-time | Wound & Vascular Care Clinic
We're the fastest-growing independent wound, vein, vascular, and lymphedema clinic group in Utah, and quickly becoming the largest of our kind in the state. With an A+ care team, exceptional patient outcomes, and hundreds of 5-star reviews, we're building something special. We're looking for a Senior Patient Care Coordinator to take on a leadership-track role across our Orem and Salt Lake City locations.
This isn't an entry-level front desk job. This role owns key parts of clinic operations, from patient scheduling to referral management, with real autonomy and a clear path to more responsibility as you prove yourself. If you're the kind of person who can run a front desk flawlessly, catch problems early, and take initiative without being asked, we want to meet you.
NOTE: This role must travel between Orem and Millcreek clinics. This schedule is a 4 10 hour shifts schedule.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of scheduling and coordination for a specialized patient population
- Manage referrals and patient follow-up with persistence and clear communication
- Review clinic schedules proactively to keep operations running smoothly across two locations
- Support front desk operations and phone coverage as needed
- Help manage office operations and supplies for both locations
- Train into additional responsibilities over time, including billing-adjacent processes and surgical scheduling
- Work closely with providers, support staff, and a remote team to keep patient care seamless
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk role, ready for more responsibility
- Highly organized and self-directed
- A strong communicator who can coordinate across locations and teams
- Comfortable with medical terminology, especially wound care and vascular procedures, or eager to learn quickly
- Tech-savvy, experienced with EMRs, phone systems, and digital tools (NextGen a plus, not required)
- Reliable, professional, and ready to take real ownership
Preferred Background
- 2+ years in a medical office or healthcare support role, ideally with scheduling or coordination experience
- Experience in wound care, vascular, or a related specialty preferred
- Looking for a long-term fit (1.5+ year commitment)
