About the role
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform administrative assistant, receptionist, clerical, and security/gate access duties within the Community Safety & Security department.
Pay Range $21-$23/hr DOE
FT Benefits include:

What you'll do
Security Office Duties:
1. Must routinely exercise tact and poise while communicating clearly and concisely with members, employees and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address complaints.
2. Provide excellent customer service and reliable coverage in the fast-paced front office, quickly and efficiently greeting and directing members and other visitors to the appropriate departments.
3. Exercise good judgment and take initiative in resolving issues.
4. Answer phones, route and/or take messages.
5. Oversee and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Supervise day-to-day office operations.
6. Assist Director of Community Safety & Security and Security Operations Manager as assigned.
7. Additional duties as assigned and required.
8. Process, review, and edit security violations.
9. Prepare recommendations on violation fines and penalties per the Association Rules, including the current published fee schedule.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
1. High school education or equivalent.
2. 3-5+ years office experience in a challenging environment.
3. Must have excellent attention to detail, accuracy, cash handling, and ability to follow directions, multi-task, and follow and enforce Rules.
4. Must possess effective oral communication skills.
5. Self-starter, take initiative, complete projects, and full scope of work in a timely manner on regular basis. Ability to remain focused and adhere to deadlines.
6. Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of staff, HOA members, other departments, and the public in a pleasant, helpful, and cooperative manner and ability to work in a team environment.
7. Superior customer service skills.
8. Ability to listen, interpret, and convey information in a clear, concise manner.
9. Ability to hold in confidence sensitive and confidential matters.
10. Ability to learn rapidly and apply and enforce specific rules, policies/procedures.
11. Ability to maintain calm in very busy shared work environment is necessary.
12. Excellent computer skills. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs and become proficient in Jonas and ABDi Access Control software.
