Vogel Disposal is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel trucks. Second Shift 2:00-11:00
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel and light trucks.- Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.- Perform preventative maintenance.- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum 1 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks or graduate of Trade School Program.- Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.- Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.- Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50 lbs. for short distances.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
