About Us
Uplift Recovery NoHo is a growing behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment program providing Detox and Residential care. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Residential Technicians / Behavioral Health Technicians to support clients throughout their recovery journey.
Position Summary
The Residential Technician plays a vital role in client supervision, admissions, daily operations, safety monitoring, and recovery support within our Detox and Residential programs. This position assists with client care, therapeutic milieu management, transportation, documentation, and day-to-day program operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor client behavior and provide supervision, support, and crisis intervention when needed.
- Conduct client check-ins, rounds, house checks, and safety monitoring.
- Assist with admissions, intakes, orientations, searches, and discharge support.
- Conduct UA collections following proper procedures.
- Supervise self-administration of medications.
- Facilitate assigned groups, meetings, activities, and document observations.
- Support daily residential operations including meal assistance, chores, laundry, and milieu management.
- Transport clients to appointments, meetings, hospitals, airports, store runs, and approved activities.
- Complete shift notes, documentation, logs, and administrative duties.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, recovery-focused environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current RADT registration REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in a 24/7 treatment environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication, professionalism, teamwork, and boundary-setting skills
Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or related field
- Experience working with substance use disorder and/or mental health populations preferred
- College coursework or degree in behavioral health, psychology, social work, or related field a plus.
