Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Manufacturing QA Technician II to join their team. As a Manufacturing QA Technician II, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the production and safety of food products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing QA Technician II
Location: Richmond, CA
Pay Range: $28-$30/hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshooting out-of-specification results and maintaining accurate daily records.
- Data entry, tracking, and interpretation of test results to support quality assurance processes.
- Following QC Hold Procedures for products that do not meet specifications.
- Assisting in equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or a related science field, or at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- HACCP certification is required; SQF Practitioner certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of microbiological, physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing methods.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Windows-based PC programs.
