Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as square POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication and taking appropriate action.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through effective time management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role, preferably with fine dining or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as square POS for order entry and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using effective time management skills in fast-paced settings.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; experience in brewing or the food industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of serving alcohol responsibly and recognizing signs of intoxication; valid certifications preferred.
