Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer/Driver. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, masonry, concrete finishing, and waterproofing all while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.
This is a full-time position (40 hours) with lots of overtime. Company sponsored healthcare at %50 value.
Duties
- Early mornings start is a must.
- Willingness to drive in and around the Greater Boston/Boston area. (Shop is in Lakeville, MA)
- Load, unload, and handle construction materials with care, ensuring proper storage and safety compliance.
- Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and team members between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols with equipment trailer in tow.
- Organization and upkeep of company shop
- Perform outdoor work tasks including concrete finishing, masonry work, landscape maintenance, and hardscape assembly in various weather conditions AS NEEDED. (Assist field employees on-site.)
- Follow strict safety procedures on-site to prevent accidents, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols for power tools and welding equipment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as masonry, or landscape maintenance is highly preferred
- Capable of acquiring a medical card (company will pay for costs)
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work including lifting heavy materials repeatedly throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles or trucks with trailer in tow.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times during construction activities
- Pride on workmanship. Someone who applies care and concern to their work.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
