East Coast Capture is a volume photography studio that provides picture day services to schools, photo sessions in our portrait studio, newborn portraits, sports and dance photography, and more! We proudly serve hundreds of schools and childcare centers throughout New England and the East Coast with one mission: to create an exceptional Picture Day experience for every school, every family, and every child. About the job:
We are currently looking to fill a full time, seasonal photographer position in our Miami region
Reliable transportation is necessary
- Our Fall 2026 season starts in September and runs strong until mid-December.
- On the job training will be provided, and continues throughout the season.
- All photography equipment is provided.
- The weekly schedule is 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
- The job entails setting up and breaking down a mobile studio set each day and photographing anywhere from 30-60 children before noon
- We typically photograph infants through 6 years of age, as well as class and staff portraits.
- Our travel area is UP to 1 hour and 30 minutes from as needed.
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- The opportunity to stay on after this picture day season and return for our following season based on performance
- Training pay is $17/hour until you are fully trained and can photograph a school solo using the full session plan.
What we are looking for:
- Somebody who is great with kids! Outgoing, energetic, and patient people are needed
- Somebody who thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment with the ability to multitask and a willingness to work hard
- Photography experience is a plus, but not required
- An early bird: the work day typically gets started by 6:30 am to 7:30 am and end the day by 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
- Personal transportation for daily travel required: you are expected to commute anywhere from 20 minutes up to 1.5 hours
- Somebody who is pleasant and communicative with school staff
Salary: starting rate is $150/day with raise after performance and photography reviews. The rate can increase up to $165/day based on seasonal performance reviews.
