Join a Growing Community Bank Technology Team
Community State Bank is seeking an IT Specialist to help support and secure the technology systems that power our bank. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience in networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, systems support, and financial institution technology.
The IT Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for employee technology support while working closely with our internal technology staff and outsourced IT partners. This role offers exposure to a broad range of systems and technologies and provides a career path toward future IT leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology support requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Set up and deploy desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Administer Microsoft 365 users, email accounts, Teams, SharePoint, and security settings.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and access management.
- Troubleshoot Outlook and email-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain Windows workstations and servers.
- Assist with network equipment, wireless systems, firewalls, and telecommunications systems.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and managed service providers.
- Assist in maintaining cybersecurity controls, patch management, and security monitoring.
- Maintain hardware and software inventories and technology documentation.
- Participate in technology projects, software rollouts, system upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.
Qualifications
Required
- A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Valid driver's license and clean background check.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- PowerShell or scripting experience.
