Job Summary
As the Program Director at Halo House, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and structured environment for young women on their path to recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from overseeing daily operations to supporting residents in reaching their recovery goals. You will collaborate closely with treatment teams, families, and staff to ensure a holistic approach to care and support. This role is full-time (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm) and salary-based. This position also does not provide psychotherapy or clinical treatment services.
Your duties will include conducting drug tests, coordinating transportation to appointments and meetings, managing medication protocols, creating and enforcing house rules, handling intake and discharge processes, and maintaining open communication with clients, staff, and outside providers. Your role will also involve staff management, including creating schedules, providing guidance, and overseeing training and development.

Your commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment, combined with your leadership skills and attention to detail, will be essential in fostering a positive and recovery-focused atmosphere at Halo House.
Additionally, your role will involve facilitating client accountability in attending 12-step meetings, providing feedback and guidance to residents and staff, and collaborating with outside providers to ensure adherence to house rules and productivity. Your dedication to the well-being and progress of each individual under your care will be key to the success of the program and the overall recovery journey of the residents at Halo House.

Requirements
- Valid license and a car for transporting clients
- Experience in leadership roles in treatment/recovery (detox facility, residential, SLE, IOP, etc)
- Experience in case management
- General knowledge of addiction treatment
- Minimum 2 years of sobriety (if in recovery)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick and informed decisions, and take decisive actions to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents and staff
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field (preferred)
- Currently enrolled or pursuing a Master's Degree in Psychology or related field (preferred)
- Interest in attaining a Master's Degree in Psychology or related field (preferred)
- Clinical knowledge and/or experience working in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment settings (preferred)
Pay: $67,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
