POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Lien Negotiator to join our Personal Injury Department in Beverly Hills. This role is critical to ensuring that clients receive the maximum net recovery from their settlements by negotiating and reducing outstanding medical and statutory liens.
If you have experience working with medical providers, Medicare, Medi-Cal, or third-party payers in the personal injury space, we’d love to hear from you.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Negotiate reductions of medical, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and provider liens at the conclusion of personal injury cases
- Verify all outstanding liens, costs, and bills related to each case
- Compile and tabulate client-related expenses, fees, and medical charges
- Prepare detailed disbursement spreadsheets outlining attorney’s fees, costs, and client net
- Coordinate with providers and insurance representatives to resolve billing issues
- Ensure compliance with statutory lien resolution requirements
- Assist with the preparation of client settlement disbursements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lien resolution files
Experience in lien negotiation/reductions preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience in lien negotiation and reductions (1–2 years preferred)
- Prior work in a plaintiff personal injury law firm or medical billing/collections is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Team player with a collaborative mindset

Salary: Commensurate with Experience (DOE)
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- In-person role based in Beverly Hills, CA
- Remote work is not available for this position
