Position Summary
Position Summary
To process ambulatory patients efficiently for initial injuries and illnesses, physical exams, testing, and follow-up visits. Will assist other members of the clinical team in providing care to the patients. Duties will include covering the front desk, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and processing patient visits. Is an effective team worker who demonstrates appropriate interaction with all staff members.
Minimum Qualifications

2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an Occupational Medicine or Primary Care office.

Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.

Effective communication skills, phlebotomy competency, and BLS required. Experience in performing EKGs, urinalysis, and vision testing is highly preferred.

Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.

Computer literate with electronic health records.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ambulatory office-based physician practice experience, preferably in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine.

Electronic Health record Knowledge/use.

Diagnostic testing relevant to Primary Care or Occupational Medicine.
