Juniper Modern Market is Hiring!
We’re looking for an early-morning person to help us get Juniper ready for the day.
This position will start each shift in the kitchen baking off our morning pastries and preparing the pastry case. Once the morning bake is complete, you’ll transition to the front of the market to work as a cashier and customer service team member.
This is a great position for someone who likes a mix of behind-the-scenes kitchen work and interacting with customers.
Your morning will include:
- Baking off pastries and other prepared bakery items
- Following bake times, temperatures, and production sheets
- Finishing and displaying pastries neatly in the case
- Packaging and labeling items as needed
- Keeping the bakery work area clean and organized
- Transitioning to the register after morning production
- Greeting customers and operating the POS
- Helping keep the market stocked, tidy, and welcoming
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and comfortable with an early start
- Can follow directions and production schedules
- Is detail-oriented and takes pride in presentation
- Is comfortable working independently in the morning
- Is friendly and confident interacting with customers
- Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
Bakery experience is helpful. We can train someone who is dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
