Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct residential painting, and other repair tasks to uphold the hotel’s appearance and safety standards.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify system faults accurately.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members or contractors when necessary.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with a customer service-oriented attitude while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality, manufacturing, or residential setting.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot
- Supervising experience preferred; capable of leading small teams or managing contractors on maintenance projects.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as schematics for electrical or mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
