Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for picking, packing, and staging orders for timely dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels through diligent inventory management practices and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock movements.
- Schedule and monitor transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize freight routes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to ensure materials are available for order fulfillment and supply chain continuity.
- Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance shipping efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline warehouse operations.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Excellent data analysis skills to monitor shipping performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth dispatching and transportation planning.
