Position Description – Spa Concierge
The SpeakEasy Spa, located in the heart of the Crossroads District of downtown Kansas City, offers a tranquil personal sanctuary just steps from Union Station, Crown Center, and the Power & Light District. Our woman-owned spa has been a trusted destination for over 20 years, providing highly trained therapists who deliver expert, personalized relaxation and therapeutic care for everyone who steps through the door. For each service, our guest’s comfort, privacy, & security remain top of mind.
The Spa Concierge role coordinates communication and work activity within the spa, and functions as a primary agent of customer satisfaction and quality management. Ensuring that our guests receive a memorable and satisfying experience during every contact with our business, and that our team members are able to do their best possible work, is the key objective.
- Acts as a skilled and gracious host to guests of the spa, ensuring their complete comfort and satisfaction
- Checks guests in and out
- Performs sales transactions, creates and takes responsibility for Point of Sale data; follows procedures and maintains high standard of accuracy
- Conducts walk-in retail sales
- Sells gift certificates, advises on gift selection, maintains accurate gift sales data
- Provides spa tours to visitors
- Schedules, confirms, and guarantees all appointments according to company protocols
- Provides thorough and knowledgeable explanations of the spa’s services in order to maximize each sale and optimize customer satisfaction
- Provides excellent telephone service to customers
- Coordinates client appointment schedules to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Coordinates stocking and maintenance of client amenities
- Assists with coordination of inventory and ordering and helps to maintain the appearance of visual merchandising and displays
- Maintains a beautiful physical environment in all the public areas in the spa
- Facilitates effective workflow for team members
- Attends and participates in general and team meetings
- Maintains a polished and professional personal image
Experience in direct customer care (hospitality and retail experience excellent)
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning our integrated software system
Schedule flexibility a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
