Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our resort. In this role, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries via multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service. Your organizational skills and technical proficiency will ensure smooth front desk operations and a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and direct calls professionally
- Handle guest requests promptly, providing accurate information about resort amenities and local attractions
- Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and productivity software such as Microsoft Office and QuickBooks for billing or bookkeeping tasks
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy to update guest information and reservation details
- Support office management duties including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and clerical support
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, tidy, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or front desk roles within hospitality or administrative settings
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), spreadsheets, data entry, and general computer literacy
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse range of guests
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading, typing, and document management
- Previous experience with bookkeeping or QuickBooks is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred to support daily front desk operations
