Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional. In this vital role, you will provide group sessions, intakes, and case management for individuals mandated to domestic violence intervention. The core responsibilities focus on behavior modification, accountability, and trauma-informed education.
Core Responsibilities
- Group Facilitation: Lead psycho-educational and therapeutic group sessions focusing on power dynamics, healthy relationships, and breaking patterns of abuse.
- Intakes & Assessments: Conduct client screenings, evaluate risk levels, and determine program suitability.
- Victim Advocacy: Coordinate with local domestic violence programs and make outreach attempts to victims to inform them of the aggressor's program participation and safety protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service notes, submit progress reports to referring agents (e.g., courts, DHS), and maintain client files per regulatory standards.
- Cross-Referrals: Assess for substance abuse, anger management, and mental health issues to refer participants to appropriate external services.
- Regulatory Oversight: Programs must strictly adhere to state guidelines, such as Oklahoma OAC 75:25-5-21 standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or criminal justice.
- Licensure & Certifications: Specialized state-recognized BIP certification (e.g., Office of the Attorney General certification) and/or active clinical licensure (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LMFT). Bridgeway will train and send to Specialized state-recognized BIP certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
- Skillset: Strong conflict management, trauma-informed care principles.
