The morning route bus driver is responsible for safely transporting students to both buildings in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include:
Operating the bus on scheduled routes and adhering to traffic laws.
Ensuring the vehicle is in good operating condition before and after each shift.
Performing pre-trip inspections to check tires, brakes, lights, and other critical components.
Interacting with students to provide direction, answer questions, and manage any issues that may arise during the journey.
Maintaining a clean driving record and being aware of the local area to ensure safe navigation.
Handling difficult situations such as traffic delays or students with special needs.

Completing pre- and post-trip safety inspections and notifying proper staff of any mechanical defects or lateness.
