Job Summary

In this vital role, you will provide personalized care in the home, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for those you serve. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly
- Assist with medication reminders while following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques.
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid are not required but preferred; HIPAA compliance and additional training in dementia care or Alzheimer's care is a plus
- Experience working with memory impairments is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
