Professional Packer – Per Diem / Part-Time
CT Family First Movers LLC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Professional Packer to join our growing team. This position is primarily focused on packing customers’ household belongings safely and efficiently in preparation for residential moves.
This is a per diem, part-time position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for additional hours based on our workload.
Pay: $20–$23 per hour + tips, based on experience and performance.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pack household belongings into boxes
- Wrap and protect fragile items, including dishes, glassware, décor, and other valuables
- Pack kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, offices, and other household spaces
- Properly organize and label boxes by room and contents
- Use appropriate packing materials and techniques to prevent damage
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality packing standards
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle customers’ belongings with care and attention to detail
- Assist with basic moving tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Previous packing, moving, organizing, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and lifting boxes throughout the day
- Professional and respectful when working inside customers’ homes
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend availability is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Per Diem / Part-Time
- $20–$23/hour + tips
- Flexible scheduling based on available moving and packing jobs
- Additional hours available during busy periods
