About the Internship
Hallelujah Nation Productions is seeking dependable, creative and motivated interns to join our production team for two feature films and one episodic project currently in development.
Interns will receive hands-on experience in pre-production, production, post-production, acting and marketing. Participants will be assigned to a department based on their interests, experience, strengths and availability.
This opportunity is designed for people seeking real film-production experience, professional credits, portfolio material, mentorship and opportunities to advance into paid crew positions funded by our nonprofit volunteer stipends.

Internship Responsibilities
Interns may be responsible for:
- Attending scheduled production work sessions.
- Completing assignments within their selected department.
- Assisting department heads with preparation and organization.
- Helping gather information for schedules and call sheets.
- Organizing production documents, files, releases and contact lists.
- Creating and Managing and storing, and returning props
- Designing and fabricating the building and breakdown of film sets
- Ai and image generation with our editing team
- narrative editing, color correction sound design
- VFX
- Supporting rehearsals, table reads, fittings and production meetings.
- Assisting with equipment, props, wardrobe, media or production materials.
- Helping with setup, breakdown, cleanup and production-day needs.
- Communicating progress and completing assignments by their deadlines.
- Participating in post-production, marketing or promotional work when assigned.
- Maintaining confidentiality and following all production rules and safety instructions.Schedule Requirements
During development and pre-production, interns must be available for at least two structured four-hour sessions per week.
Available sessions are:
Sunday: 3:00–7:00 p.m. or 7:00–11:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 3:00–7:00 p.m. or 7:00–11:00 p.m.
Friday: 3:00–7:00 p.m. or 7:00–11:00 p.m.
During filming, selected interns may be asked to work scheduled production days lasting approximately 8–10 hours.
Some writing, editing, marketing and administrative assignments may be completed remotely.
Qualifications
Ideal applicants should:
- Be dependable, teachable and professional.
- Have a genuine interest in film, television or digital production.
- Be able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
- Communicate clearly and respond to production messages promptly.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Have reliable transportation for in-person sessions.
- Have access to a laptop.
- Be comfortable using Google Docs, Google Drive and shared production systems.
- Be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and project paperwork.
- Prior film experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation and Advancement
This internship provides hands-on production experience, mentorship, networking, portfolio development and qualifying screen or IMDb credit.
Paid positions are available for experienced applicants and interns who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, skill and continued availability.
Interns may also receive:

- Access to footage or approved portfolio materials.
- Meals during qualifying production days.
- A potential project-completion stipend when offered in writing.
Compensation, stipends and project participation are determined separately according to the applicant’s role, experience, responsibilities and signed agreement.
