Software Engineer
Flexera Global is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects from inception to completion. .
Software Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigates problem areas.
- Follows the software development lifecycle.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Education and Experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
- This position is for a highly skilled full-stack senior .Net developer responsible for participating in a team with expertise in analysis, design, development, and testing to ensure industry standards are met while meeting business requirements.
- Enhancing technology and data systems while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for requirements analysis and translating them into technical specifications.
- Developing modules, interfaces, and functionalities using .NET, Bootstrap, Angular, and MVC.
- Optimizing database structure for efficient reporting and data management.
- Implementing middleware solutions to optimize data flow and system efficiency.
- Designing and maintaining third-party APIs for system communication.
- Creating integrations across diverse technical environments with a focus on data security.
- Utilizing MS DevOps tools for CI/CD pipeline management and system deployment.
- Implementing secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Producing technical and operational documentation.
- Provide business analysis support for project requests making sure to examine build vs. buy options that may be available and align with business strategic goals including cost / benefit analysis for new efforts.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
